Annie Get Your Gun

"Sharpshooting Annie Oakley emerges from the Ohio backwoods and defeats Frank Butler "The Greatest  Marksman In The West " in a shooting match. 

Annie loses her heart to Frank but the male ego, being what it is, Frank leaves Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show and joins the rival outfit of Pawnee Bill. The competition becomes quite fierce with both Bills trying to outdo each other. 
 
Annie and Frank, although deeply in love, stubbornly resist all attempts at a reconciliation. 

Finally Big Chief Sitting Bull, who had adopted Annie , uses his indian guile (and a pair of pliers ) to bring the two together in a finale that once again proves "You Can't Get a Man with a Gun."
